ICR stands for Inclusive Community Radio and we are an Aspirant Community Radio group proudly based in the City of Fairfield, NSW AUSTRALIA.

We are part of and committed to our very unique area and it is our aim to reflect this in whatever medium we broadcast in. We are currently the only Community Broadcaster to stream program content produced in our area and stream this on the Internet 24/7.

We are an Incorporated Association and as such properly formed within the frame work of the Office of Fair Trading. We use as a basis for our broadcasting policies the Code of Practice for Community Broadcasters as updated in July 2008, however our attitude extends much further in that we aim to lead the way in not only our standard of broadcast but in our dealings both internally and externally.

Most of our members and the Community Radio community at large have had most unpleasant experiences from managements’ that are in our opinion, manifestly unsuitable for Community Radio, TV, the Print Media and or anything else. Whilst we were initially formed to develop a true Community Radio in our most favorite location, we have the committee and membership base to go much further, such as Community TV, producing content for Commercial Radio, TV and beyond.

We are however and always will be committed to our highly valued presenters, producer’s assistants and to each and every member of our small but very talented group, this is and always will be the strength of ICR.

ICR stands for Inclusive Community Radio and this is because we will never be just an exclusive group or club, our motto is ‘You’re Included’ and we mean that sincerely.

We will welcome any genuine individual or group who shares our objective or can positively contribute to our group, that simple. As resources and funding becomes available we will develop training programs and show to Australia and the world a truly unique approach to multicultural broadcasting which all the big media originations obviously just cannot be bothered doing.
